Terms and Conditions
A reservation will deem to have been made once your deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.
We do not normally accept bookings for Hen or Stag Do’s
Rooms are generally booked for double occupancy if you require a single room we do offer a single rate on all double rooms and our Hive room can be set up as a single.
We welcome children at Granary Barn. Children up to the age of 2 years can stay at no additional charge, provided that you bring your own travel cot. If you wish to hire a travel cot or fold out bed please enquire.
Children aged 18mths to 12 years of age can be accommodated in the Byre room on a fold out bed at an additional fee, this includes their own complimentary continental style breakfast.
We do have two small ponds also various animals in the garden so children must be supervised at all times. Children are not allowed access to fields unless accompanied by adults.
Arrivals and Departures
Arrival times are from 3 pm onwards.
We can sometimes be a little flexible on this but this is by prior arrangement only.
Departure is at 10 am.
We ask that rooms are vacated by 10 am if you require a later departure time, please enquire upon arrival as we can sometimes be flexible if the room is not booked for that evening.
Payments, Deposits and Cancellations
We require a 40% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. When booking online full payment will be taken via PayPal, which includes your deposit.
If you wish to cancel, please let us know no later than 7 days before your arrival. In these circumstances a full refund will be given, minus your 40% deposit. Unless you have a group booking of 2 or more rooms, we would then require 4-weeks minimum notice.
If you cancel less than 7 days prior (4-weeks notice for group bookings) to your arrival no refund will be given unless we can re-book the room(s)
We recommend that all guests take out adequate travel insurance to cover for booking cancellation.
If you wish to pay by Bank transfer please enquire.
Guests with Mobility, sight, hearing and other needs please note that all bedrooms are on the first floor. Unfortunately, no lift is available but we do offer to help with luggage if required.
The driveway is mainly laid to gravel but does have areas of decking and uneven cobbles. We recommend that suitable shoes are worn when outside as surfaces can become slippery when wet or icy.
There are also two steps into the building.
We include a selection of fruits, yoghurts, toast and baked goods in your room rate. If you have any special dietary requirements, we try to be as accommodating as possible but ask that you please speak to us prior booking.
Food Allergies and Intolerances
Please do discuss any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements with us prior to booking. We do what we can to ensure all our guests are comfortable and safe but we only have one kitchen and we will be preparing foods of all types including products containing nuts and other allergens.
We do have animals on site including our Bees (the bees are kept in a separate fenced off enclosure.) Please bear this in mind if you suffer from any animal allergies. Those travelling with children need to ensure they are supervised at all times.
We do not accept Dogs at this time as some of our feathered and furry friends are free range. Service dogs are accepted but please let us know when you book.
If our property is damaged by any reckless or deliberate means, we will seek recompense for the full value of our property.
We are a non-smoking site and do not allow smoking anywhere on the premises.
